Local Walks

As well as providing many maps, guide books and laminated routes within the cottage for guests to use, here are a handful of our favourites!
Nunnington, Hovingham, Helmsley to Rievaulx and Beckdale and Ashdale.
We are on the Ebor Way which you can use for short walks as well as a long distance challenge, we often walk the 4 miles to Helmsley for an ice-cream, or in the other direction to Hovingham for a treat from the bakery.
Please take a look at more of our favourite walks on our story highlights on our Instagram Page and there are a few accessible routes within the Howardian Hills take a look here to download some routes.
